Fisherman of what? I am hurt by what I don't see

Mark 1:17 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
I was talking with my neighbor early this morning and my neighbor said to me you yankee's don't own nothing. I don't see the black man own not one corner store there all from other countries. What does the African American do for there community is what question came to me? More so what does the African American body of believers do for there community, for there youth who are there future? I begin to search my mind came home and cried because I don't see nothing. The word of the LORD told us to follow him and he would make us fisher of men. We have all been called to evangelism it is not just for evangelist. This is the word of GOD, 2 Timothy 4:5, this has become a rare commodity.
I have an outreach and people don't understand this ministry for our motto is not liken by the world. "There Is Good N The Hood", for I have truly seen there is good. i was one that came from such a background out the hood.  Paul spoke and said " Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. This is the word brethren, saints of God.
When was the last time you led somebody to Christ? When was the last time you went out among the people? As an African American when was the last time you went out to the hood without it being a holiday? Leaders, when was the last time you went out with your church and ministered along side of the road? Jesus said "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the LORD of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into the harvest", with that we know he did.
He sent the disciples and commanded them to "Go" and they went. Yet somewhere along the way we got distracted and forgot what fisherman for men really do. Somewhere along the way as African American's we forgot our identity. Can you believe this is Black History month and I have yet to see it acknowledged? Not to say as an African American we don't celebrate everyday that you are who you are but just to take this month and really celebrate.
Remember the WORD of the LORD " Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. People of GOD and being loud to African American come and join me "GO OUT AMONG THE LOST AND DYING AND HELP LEAD SOMEONE TO CHRIST". Would you not want someone to help you along the way? I am so sad at what I don't see it just made me cry. If you don't want to go just keep praying for me for I don't want to forget "THERE IS GOOD N THE HOOD.
